MPTV Community Cinema
MPTV Community Cinema, now in its 3rd. season, is a monthly (September through May) preview of local and national documentaries that will air on Milwaukee Public Television. The screenings are followed by an open audience discussion with one or more guests knowledgeable about the topic of the featured documentary.
In 2009–2010, all MPTV Community Cinema sessions will be on the FIRST THURSDAY of each month at 6:30 p.m. The screenings will take place at Discovery World's Innovation Theatre at 500 N. Harbor Drive in Milwaukee. The event is free and open to the public.
March 4:
Dirt! The Movie, an ITVS production (60 min.)
Find out how industrial farming, mining and urban development have led us toward cataclysmic droughts, starvation, floods and climate change. Dirt is a part of everything we eat, drink and breathe. Which is why we should stop treating it like…dirt!

When a Texas couple learn that their son has been diagnosed with autism, they seek the best treatments, but nothing works. Then on a journey halfway around the world to Mongolia, they discover their son's connection to horses and the effect it has on him.
