Join us at Discovery World for a one-hour preview version of HALF THE SKY. Inspired by his best-selling Pulitzer Prize-winning book, author Nicholas Kristof and celebrity activists travel to ten countries. They witness courageous individuals who are confronting oppression and creating meaningful solutions through health care, education, and economic empowerment for women and girls. This moving documentary deals with strong subject matter.

A discussion follows with Dr. Sebastian Ssempijja, Ph. D., Executive Director, Sebastian Family Psychology Practice LCC and Rhonda M. Ware, Executive Director, Research Center for Women and Girls, Alverno College.

Street parking at no cost and facility parking for a fee are available. Doors open at 6 pm. Seating is on a first-come basis.
