MPTV Community Cinema: THE CALLING

Thursday, December 2, 2010 / 6:30 pm

THE CALLING is a behind-the-scenes look at young Americans--Evangelical Christian, Jewish, Catholic and Muslim--as they prepare to become the nation's next generation of religious leaders. Explore the forces that draw them to serve their communities. The film offers entertaining, often surprising stories on how faith is lived in a modern, largely secular world.

Join the open discussion with Fr. Tim Kitzke, Pastoral Team Member: Three Holy Women, Old St. Mary, Saints Peter and Paul, Our Lady of Divine Providence Catholic Parishes; Jim Viining, Associate Pastor at Elmbrook Church; Rabbi Shari Shamah, Jewish Family Specialist, Harry and Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center and Ameer Hamza, Hafiz and youth director in the Milwaukee Muslim community.

The event is free and open to public. Discovery World parking is just $1.00 for cinema attendees.

All MPTV Community Cinema sessions are scheduled on the FIRST Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in Discovery World's Innovation Theater, 500 North Harbor Drive in Milwaukee.
