Gardening has always been my passion so when I was asked to host the first season of Milwaukee Public Television’s Garden Paths , I didn’t even have to think about it. I’m also a national correspondent for a weekly show called Health Corner with Leeza Gibbons which airs on Lifetime. Starting out as a reporter in television news led to opportunities to learn and share about the things I’m really crazy about. Nature, the environment and living a healthy, joyful life are topics I get to talk about everyday and man, I’m just so grateful.

I’m not a horticulturist. I’m just like you. Eager to learn and in need of some dirt therapy when life gets rough. We’ve got an exciting season planned. Garden Paths premiers in New Orleans, one of the most exquisite places for any gardener to visit. You will not believe the paths these people had to take to restore their city and their hearts. We’ll bring several segments on New Orleans to you throughout the year.

If my voice sounds familiar to you, it’s probably because I do national radio spots for Walgreens. I’m also the voice you often hear promoting whatever’s on sale when you enter a Walgreens store. I’ve field produced a few segments for the Rachel Ray show too.

But back to gardening. As plant growers, we never take the path of least resistance. Gardening is hard sometimes. Especially in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where I live. I look forward to sharing the tips I learn throughout the Garden Paths season and know you’ll enjoy the guests on our show every bit as much as I do.
