This series is the next generation of the popular MPTV production “Great Lakes Gardener” which aired for 6 years on PBS stations nationwide. “Garden Paths” is devoted to helping new and expert gardener alike explore their own ways, their own paths to develop beautiful backyards and gardens.

Hosted by avid gardener and a 15-year veteran of broadcast television Jodi Olson, “Garden Paths” visits a number of famous and lush garden sites to glean ideas, proven techniques and new approaches to make any yard that much more desirable. You'll enjoy intimate tours of venues such as Florida’s venerable Cypress Gardens, New York City’s Central Park, the lively St. Paul Farmer’s Market and many thriving sites throughout a post-Katrina New Orleans. Garden fitness training, fresh garden-to-the-table recipes, yard art and seed saving are among the topics presented by some extremely recognizable guests, host Jodi Olson, producers Liddie Collins and Glenn Riley, Horticulturist Melinda Myers and Senior Producer Kevin Pulz.

"Garden Paths" highlights horticultural places to visit, simple ideas for your yard and dinner table, environmental awareness and advice for that tough spot in the garden.
