Fruit Kabobs

Ingredients

  • 1 apple cubed
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1/3 cup red seedless grapes
  • 1/3 cup green seedless grapes
  • 2/3 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup plain (or vanilla) yogurt
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut
  • (4 wooden skewers)

Directions

  1. Slide the pieces of fruit onto the skewers.
  2. Roll each kabob in the yogurt
  3. Then roll each kabob in the coconut

Note: Watch out for the skewers with younger children. You could substitute melon, strawberries and other fruit for those listed above. For those who do not like coconut or will not try it, just skip the coconut. The important thing is to encourage children to eat fruit.
