Fruity Chia Seed Breakfast
Ingredients
- 1C fresh squeezed grapefruit
- 1C fresh squeeze orange juice
- 1C goji berries
- ¼ C chia seeds
- ½ C chopped pineapple
- ½ C blueberries
- ½ C peeled and chopped grapefruit
- ½ C peeled and chopped orange
Directions
- Soak chia seeds in grapefruit and orange juice for 15-20 minutes until the mixture turns into a slightly gelatinous consistency.
- After soaking, spoon chia seed mixture into a small bowl and top with grapefruit, orange and pineapple chunks as well as goji berries and blueberries.
Energy Snack Balls
Ingredients
- 1C sprouted sunflower seeds
- 1C sprouted pumpkin seeds
- 1C sprouted quinoa
- ½ C ground chia seeds
- 6 medjool dates
- pinch sea salt
- 1C goji berries
- 1C shredded coconuts
- 1C cocoa powder
Directions
- Put all ingredients into food processor except coconut and cocoa powder. Blend to sticky consistency.
- Roll mixture into small balls and roll in coconut and/or cocoa.
Sprouted Cereal with Almond / Sesame Seed Milk
Ingredients
- 1C unsprouted sunflower seeds
- 2C rolled oats
- 1C sprouted quinoa
- 1C sprouted pumpkin seeds
- ½ C almonds
- pinch sea salt
- ½ C ground chia seeds
- 2 T agave
- ¼ C dry coconut
Directions
- Put all ingredients in food processor and pulse 5-10 times.
- Serve with sesame seed milk.
Sesame Seed Milk
Ingredients
- ¼ C sesame seeds
- ½ C almonds
- 3 C water
- pinch sea salt
Directions
- Put ingredients in blender until liquefied. Strain to remove heavy fiber.
Chocolate / Chia Seeds Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 C sesame seed milk - add more sesame seeds to thicken
- 5 bananas
- 2 T cocoa
- ¼ C chia seeds
- 2 C ice
- Pinch sea salt
- 1 inch ginger
Directions
- Put all ingredients except cocoa and ginger in blender and blend to desired thickness.
- Add cocoa & ginger and more ice and blend again.
