Leadership Circle
Over half a century ago, television began the process of revolutionizing the way we view our world.
Since then, television quickly became America's most pervasive entertainment medium. Its critics have said it has fallen far short of its potential as a powerful, informative tool.
Fifty years ago, there were those in southeastern Wisconsin who recognized this disparity and believed that television should enrich the community with programs of substance and meaning.
Leadership Circle Testimonials
Jean Neal
Through their foresight and commitment, Milwaukee Public Television was born.
Like its founders, the MPTV Leadership Circle members are major investors in Milwaukee Public Television. More important, they are our counselors and ambassadors. They enable MPTV to expand its vision of excellence and develop new programs, and to employ cutting edge telecommunications technology and find innovative ways to better serve Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
In celebration of Milwaukee Public Television achieving its 50th anniversary in 2007, we have recreated our Leadership Circle benefit opportunities to reflect MPTV's golden age.
