LIDIA BASTIANICH TO HOST EVENT IN MILWAUKEE

Celebrity chef Lidia Bastianich will visit Milwaukee on October 21 to host An Evening with Lidia Bastianich, where fans will have the opportunity to meet her and taste samples of her newest recipes. Bastianich is the star of PBS' LIDIA'S ITALY IN AMERICA and LIDIA'S KITCHEN which airs on Milwaukee Public Television.

An Evening with Lidia Bastianich is presented by Milwaukee Public Television and offers attendees the opportunity to sample some of Bastianich's most recent recipes, prepared by the MATC culinary students. The event will be held at MATC in the Cuisine Restaurant, located at 1015 North 6th Street in downtown Milwaukee, and begins at 5:30 p.m. on October 21.

Bastianich is an Emmy award‐winning television host, a best‐selling cookbook author, restaurateur, and owner of a flourishing food and entertainment business. Bastianich's numerous cookbooks include "Lidia's Favorite Recipes", "Lidia's Italy in America", "Lidia Cooks From the Heart of Italy", "Lidia's Italy", "Lidia's Family Table", "Lidia's Italian‐American Kitchen", "Lidia's Italian Table" and "La Cucina di Lidia".

Tickets are $35 for MPTV members and $40 for non-members. Copies of her latest cookbook, "Commonsense Italian Cooking", will be available for purchase at the event for $35. LIDIA'S KITCHEN is currently airing on MPTV 10.1 HD and 36.2 on Saturdays at noon.
