MPTV SPECIAL FEATURES MILWAUKEE'S HISTORIC PFISTER HOTEL

October 21, 2013

Locally-Produced Documentary Highlights the Service, Culture and Tradition
of Landmark Hotel

For 120 years, the Pfister Hotel has served as an icon in hospitality in Milwaukee. But what makes the Pfister so distinctive? INSIDE THE PFISTER, A MILWAUKEE HOTEL ICON answers that question and more when it premieres on October 31 at 7:30 p.m. on MPTV 10.1 HD and 36.2.

This locally-produced 30-minute documentary features breathtaking video of the Pfister's architectural beauty. Host Mark Siegrist takes viewers behind the scenes to capture the daily rhythm, tradition, and luxury service of this treasured landmark. The program will show how the Pfister staff anticipate and exceed the expectations of guests in this world-class hotel.

This supreme commitment was clearly expressed by Omar Naimi, Director of Operations, who stated, "This is my house. This is my living room, and you are my guest."

Highlights also include a look inside the Pfister kitchens with Executive Chef Brian Frakes and an interview with Housekeeping Director Annie Fang, who discusses how the art of housekeeping is a vital part of exceeding guest expectations - just as it is through the kitchen cuisine, service at the front door & lobby, and overall ambience of the building. Premiering on Halloween, the documentary will also explore the how legend of hotel founder Charles Pfister's spiritual presence began.

INSIDE THE PFISTER, A MILWAUKEE HOTEL ICON will be re-broadcast on November 1 at 8:30 p.m. on MPTV 36.1 HD.
