Four Tops on Black Nouveau

Abdul Duke Fakir, the oldest member of Motown's famed Four Tops, and Lawrence Payton, Jr., the newest member of the group, will be interviewed on Milwaukee Public Television's Black Nouveau Wednesday, Nov. 21, on MPTV-10 at 6:30 p.m.

A popular soul group that came to prominence in the 1960s, the Four Tops' hits include "Baby I Need Your Loving," "Reach Out and I'll Be There," "I Can't Help Myself" and many other familiar titles. The program also will feature an interview and performance by jazz vocalist and radio personality Cassandra McShepard.

Faithe Colas and Keith Murphy are Black Nouveau's co-hosts. The weekly series is designed to promote a better understanding of African Americans, to explore issues, and to present stories that educate and inform.
