Black Nouveau Explores Digital

Marcellus Alexander, the National Association of Broadcasters' executive vice president for television, discusses how upcoming changes in digital broadcasting will affect viewers on Black Nouveau Wednesday, Jan. 16, on MPTV-10 at 6:30 p.m.
The Milwaukee Public Television program also includes a report from Harry Johnson, president of the Martin Luther King Project in Washington, D.C., on the status of the $100 million effort to build a memorial.
In other segments, Linda Wade explains Above The Clouds, a free, local arts program for youth ages 5 to 17. William Rogers, professor of Africology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, discusses the presidential race.
Faithe Colas and Keith Murphy are Black Nouveau's co-hosts. The weekly series is designed to promote a better understanding of African Americans, to explore issues, and to present stories that educate and inform.
