Dreyfus Interview to Air

An interview with former governor Lee Sherman Dreyfus will re-air on I Remember Monday, Jan. 14, on MPTV-10 at 6:30 p.m. The program originally aired on the earlier Milwaukee Public Television series, I Remember Milwaukee, in February, 1995. Dreyfus died Jan. 2.
Known for his trademark red vest, Dreyfus served as Wisconsin's governor from 1979 to 1983. Before entering the political arena, he was a professor of communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for five years and chancellor of the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point for ten years.
After serving as governor for one term, he moved into the private sector to become president of Sentry Insurance in Stevens Point. He started Lee Sherman Dreyfus, Inc., in 1984 and became a motivational speaker.
The host for I Remember Milwaukee is talk show veteran Jim Peck, currently a senior advancement officer at Marquette University.
