MPTV Community Cinema Presents I.O.U.S.A

November 12, 2008

Milwaukee, WI -- MPTV Community Cinema presents I.O.U.S.A., a new documentary examining the rapidly growing national debt and its consequences, on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at 7:00p.m., at Discovery World Innovation Theatre, 500 N. Harbor Drive, Milwaukee. A discussion led by Clare Zempel, CFA, a leading business economist and top investment strategist follows the film. Attendance at this monthly series is free and open to the public.

The documentary by veteran filmmaker Patrick Creadon boldly examines the financial road America has taken, and the potential for further economic disaster. Burdened with an ever-expanding government and military, overextended entitlement programs and debts to foreign countries, America must mend its ways or face an economic disaster of epic proportions.

MPTV Community Cinema is a monthly film screening series showcasing selected documentaries from the award-winning PBS series, INDEPENDENT LENS, and local documentary features produced by Milwaukee Public Television or docUWM.

Since its inception, MPTV has educated, entertained and inspired. Today, MPTV offers viewers a family of channels to choose from, including eleven analog and digital channels, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. MPTV is a viewer-supported service of Milwaukee Area Technical College.
