Free Film Screening Profiles the Sick and Uninsured

MPTV Producer Everett Marshburn's latest production: "Healthcare: The Wisconsin Prescription" will be shown at Discovery World's Innovation Theatre--500 N. Harbor Drive, Wednesday, December 10 at 7:00pm. The screening is free and open to the public.
The stories of real people facing serious healthcare challenges are presented, including a mother with brain cancer, a man with multiple sclerosis, and a young cancer survivor who cannot get health insurance for herself or her employees. Karen Timberlake, Secretary of Health Services for Wisconsin, and State Senators Karen Vinehout and Glenn Grothman--who represent differing viewpoints on the Healthcare debate in the Wisconsin legislature are also interviewed.
Following the film screening, the audience will have an opportunity to participate in open discussion with individuals featured in the film.
