ZIMMERMAN CEO JOINS MPTV FRIENDS BOARD

Milwaukee, WI - David Stroik, president and CEO of Zimmerman Architectural Studios and Commissioner Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission for Washington County has joined the MPTV Friends board of directors. The MPTV Friends raises funds through memberships, the Great TV Auction, special events, major gifts, and corporate sponsorships to support programming and equipment maintenance for MPTV/Milwaukee Public Television.
A resident of the Town of West Bend, Stroik has an extensive background in engineering and architecture. He serves on the City of West Bend's Urban Design Board. He has been with Zimmerman Architectural Studios, southeastern Wisconsin's oldest and largest architectural and engineering firm for over 30 years.
Stroik received his bachelor's degree and master's degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, and in 2002, he received the Distinguished Alumnus Award. He serves on the school's Dean's Advisory and Design Boards.
Stroik was appointed to SEWRPC in 2004 by Governor Jim Doyle and reappointed by Governor Doyle in 2006. He currently serves as chairman of the Administrative Committee, and vice chairman of the Planning and Research Committee, and as a member of the Executive Committee. His current term expires on September 15, 2012.
