MPTV Visits Kenosha for Public Town Hall Meeting


Milwaukee, WI - MPTV will host its third Town Hall meeting to engage residents in its SE Wisconsin viewing area in conversation about how Milwaukee Public Television can continue to serve their needs. Viewers in the Kenosha and Racine areas are invited to attend to learn about MPTV's new initiatives in art, education, and jobs; upcoming programs; special events; look-a-like contest; previews and panel discussions; engineering topics; volunteer opportunities; and to submit their own questions. General Manager Ellis Bromberg will host the evening along with staff members from engineering, production, programming, and the Friends. A special preview of WISCONSIN VIETNAM WAR STORIES scheduled for late May will be shown.

The MPTV Town Hall Meeting will be held at the St. Catherine's Commons Senior Center Community Room, 3524 7th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53140, on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at 7 pm. Attendance and parking are free and open to all. Refreshments will be served. MPTV has been interested in feedback from viewers and community members in SE Wisconsin for over 50 years.

Since its inception, MPTV has educated, entertained and inspired. Today, MPTV offers viewers a family of nine digital channels to choose from (10.1 HD, 36.1, 36.2 Vme, 36.3 World, 36.4 Create, 36.5 Classical, 36.6 Jazz, 36.7 Weather, 36.8 Traffic), 24 hours a day, seven days a week. MPTV is a viewer-supported service of Milwaukee Area Technical College.
