Milwaukee, WI - MPTV Channel 36.3 WORLD will broadcast the PBS NewsHour's live coverage of the Senate Confirmation Hearings for U.S. Supreme Court Nominee Elena Kagan. The broadcast begins Monday, June 28 at 11:30 a.m. (CT) and continues Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (CT) or until conclusion. NewsHour Senior Correspondent Judy Woodruff will anchor the live coverage from a booth overlooking the hearing room in the Hart Senate Office Building. Her guest will be Marcia Coyle, who regularly covers the Supreme Court for the NewsHour and for the National Law Journal. During session breaks, Coyle and Hari Sreenevisan, NewsHour news summary correspondent, will answer viewer questions submitted by email, Twitter, Facebook, and other interactive features embedded in the live stream.
