No-Cost-to-Go MPTV Holiday Art & Gift Fair - Nov. 20 & 21

Milwaukee, WI (November 11, 2010) - The MPTV Friends will host a two-day juried event featuring over 50 vendor booths offering original fine art, high quality crafts, and jewelry at the MPTV Auction site at 12560 W. Townsend Street, Brookfield, (between Burleigh and Capital/west of 124th Street) on November 20 and 21. Doors open at 10 a.m. both days and close Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

Shoppers at the 8th annual fair will find a pleasing selection of oils, acrylics, watercolors and pastels, sculpture, pottery, glasswork, woodcarving, photography, graphics, fiber arts, and handmade jewelry to suit a wide variety of tastes. Food and beverages are available. In addition to this sale, the MPTV Auction is hosting its online Holiday Auction through November 21, at http://www.greattvauction.com/. Proceeds from MPTV Auction events help support programming on MPTV.

MPTV is a community-supported service of Milwaukee Area Technical College. Since its inception, MPTV has educated, entertained, and inspired. Today MPTV offers viewers a family of 10 digital channels to choose from, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. It also operates a website where local productions can be viewed online after original broadcast.
