Dear Representative (Last name):

Regarding: Continuing funding for Corporation for Public Broadcasting
H.R.68
Latest Title: To amend the Communications Act of 1934 to prohibit Federal funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting after fiscal year 2013.
Sponsor: Rep Lamborn, Doug [CO-5] (introduced 1/5/2011) Cosponsors (18)
Related Bills: H.R.69

I am one of your constituents, living in (Town), and I am writing to request that you vote to continue funding for public media including Milwaukee Public Television, Wisconsin Public Television, Wisconsin Public Radio, and National Public Radio. I have been a supporter, viewer, and listener of public media for many years, and it is greatly valued by all the members of my family.

Public media provides access to programming that is educational, cultural, informative, entertaining, and it does it without the commercials that pitch and distract from programming.

Our family hopes we can count on you to vote against H.R.68 that seeks to prohibit the Federal government from providing access to free public media throughout the United States.

Sincerely,
