MPTV's 4th Street Forum Moves to Earlier Time

Milwaukee Public Television's weekly discussion of political and social issues, 4th STREET FORUM, will move to a new time and station. Starting Oct. 21, the program will air at 9 p.m. on MPTV 36.1 on Fridays.
4th STREET FORUM is now on MPTV 10.1 Fridays at 10 p.m. and Sundays at 9 a.m. It will remain on MPTV 10.1 at 9 a.m. on Sundays.
The one-hour program presents a panel of experts who explore topics of concern to the community and exchange views about them with a studio audience. Forums are taped September through May, Thursdays at noon, Turner Hall, 1034 N. 4th St. They are free and open to the public, and participants are invited to bring a lunch.
Recent topics have included Wisconsin's education budget, for profit colleges, voter ID's, appointing state Supreme Court judges, and similar concerns. The series is sponsored by the Milwaukee Turners and MPTV in collaboration with UW-Milwaukee Center for Urban Initiatives Research.
