MPTV Special Discusses Sikh Faith, Tragedy

The Sikh faith tradition and the response of Milwaukee's religious community to the shootings at the Oak Creek Sikh temple will be explored in a 30-minute discussion on Milwaukee Public Television (MPTV HD 10.1) Wednesday, Aug. 15, at 9 p.m.

Guests will be Dr. Swarnjit S. Arora, professor of economics, UW-Milwaukee, and Jamie Washam, vice-chair, Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee, and pastor, Underwood Memorial Baptist Church, Wauwatosa. Mark Siegrist is the host.

The program is a special edition of ETHICALLY MILWAUKEE, an MPTV series broadcast periodically over the last several years. The PBS documentary, SIKHS IN AMERICA, will be repeated at 9:30 p.m.
