Special Examines Shaping of Priests

Milwaukee Public Television will present an inside look at the academic and spiritual formation of tomorrow's Catholic priests on MPTV HD 10.1 Monday, Oct. 29, at 9 p.m.
The 30-minute documentary, MILWAUKEE HOLY ORDERS, THE MAKING OF A PRIEST, introduces viewers to Milwaukee seminarians at various stages of their training. It also examines the talents priests need to face issues such as the sex abuse scandals and financial decay.
Producer and journalist Mark Siegrist presents insights from senior members of the archdiocesan clergy, including Archbishop Jerome Listecki in the special. The program includes an in-depth look at the symbolism and meaning of the Sacrament of Holy Orders.
