MPTV Community Cinema Honors Pearl Harbor Veterans

MILWAUKEE, Wis., Nov. 19, 2012 - Milwaukee Public Television's Community Cinema will offer a preview and discussion of RETURN TO PEARL on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. The preview event, which takes place at Discovery World, is free and open to the public.

RETURN TO PEARL is a one-hour documentary produced by Milwaukee Public Television. Host Mark Siegrist travels with veterans who were stationed at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, the day the Japanese navy attacked this naval base. These Old Glory Honor Flight veterans returned to Pearl Harbor in June of 2012, and many for the first time discussed their memories and stories about this unforgettable event on U.S. soil.

Following the preview of RETURN TO PEARL, a panel discussion will follow and includes Mark Siegrist - the documentary's host, and Drew MacDonald - President of the Board of Directors of Old Glory Honor Flight, Inc.

The program will air on Friday, December 7 at 8:00 p.m. on MPTV 10.1 HD and 36.2. Please check the listings at mptv.org for additional broadcasts.
