MPTV Documentary Honors Pearl Harbor Veterans

MILWAUKEE, Wis., Nov. 30, 2012 - Milwaukee Public Television will air RETURN TO PEARL on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. on MPTV 10.1 HD and 36.2. This air date is the 71st anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, and RETURN TO PEARL chronicles World War II veterans' return trip to Pearl Harbor.
RETURN TO PEARL is a one-hour documentary produced by Milwaukee Public Television. Host Mark Siegrist travels with veterans who were stationed at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, the day the Japanese navy attacked this naval base. These Old Glory Honor Flight veterans returned to Pearl Harbor in June of 2012. For many, this was the first time they shared their memories, stories, thoughts and feelings about this unforgettable event on U.S. soil.
RETURN TO PEARL will be re-broadcast on Sunday, December 9 at 10:00 p.m. on MPTV 36.1 and on Sunday, December 16 at 9:00 a.m. on MPTV 36.1.
