10.1 Allen Thompson/Ralph Stanley II The Allen Thompson Band is a 5-piece combo whose home base is in Tennessee. The group plays original compositions in a style that is currently labeled as "Americana". Ralph II is the son of Ralph and Jimmi Stanley and currently the youngest member of the band. For the past several years, Ralph II has distinguished himself as lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the Clinch Mountain Boys. Ralph II is now signed with Rebel Records and has four solo projects out. (13 of 24)

10.1 New North Carolina Ramblers/Buck & Company/Gold The New North Carolina Ramblers offer a fine show with a variety of old time styles and downhome knee slapping comedy. Buck & Company's repertoire focuses on traditionally based bluegrass and bluegrass gospel music while including original compositions by Buck McCumbers and Connie Hardman. The five-piece band Gold Heart , features sisters Analise (mandolin), Jocelyn (guitar) and Shelby (fiddle). Their harmony-laden vocals are sweetly unique and rootsy. (14 of 24)

10.1 Jesse McReynolds/The Virginia Boys Jesse McReynolds, one-half of the famed Jim & Jesse bluegrass duo, is a legend in the world of bluegrass music. Known as “Mr. Mandolin,” and the "Ironman of Bluegrass," this multi-instrumental wizard has influenced generations of bluegrass musicians with his “McReynolds style” of mandolin playing, consisting of “cross-picking” and “split-string” techniques.
