10.1 Vietnam Veterans Memorial The Vietnam Veterans Memorial was dedicated November 13, 1982 on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Known as the Wall, it was designed by Maya Lin. Host Jim Peck interviews Jan C. Scruggs, a Vietnam veteran, who began the push for the memorial in 1979. Scruggs founded the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, the non-profit organization launched to build and maintain the memorial. The VVMF continues its mission with a plan for an Education Center near the Wall. The organization has launched a National Call for Photos, a campaign to collect a photograph of each of the more than 58,000 individuals whose names are inscribed on the Wall. The photos will be displayed at the Education Center.

10.1 Dean Jensen Author Dean Jensen and host Jim Peck toast Leitzel, a famous circus performer who commanded top billing a century ago. She is the subject of Jensen’s book, "Queen of the Air: A True Story of Love and Tragedy at the Circus," (release date: June 11th of 2013). A former art critic with the Milwaukee Sentinel, Jensen is also the owner of an art gallery. The Dean Jensen Gallery opened in 1987.
