UNITED WE STAND: 9/11 Memorial Concert - 9/11/11

The Bel Canto Chorus and the Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra commemorate the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks with a free concert in downtown Milwaukee's Cathedral Square Park. The centerpiece of the performance is Mozart's Requiem conducted by Maestro Richard Hynson. Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings" is also performed. Community leaders are featured, along with special guest soloists Rebecca Whitney (soprano), Nicole Warner (mezzo-soprano), Gregory Schmidt (tenor), and Gerard Sundberg (baritone).
