Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are what make MPTV Friends’ value to the community unlimited!
We understand that everyone has something unique to contribute, and we offer a variety of ways you can assist. Experience is not necessary to volunteer, just enthusiasm and commitment. We will provide training in exchange for your time and commitment. Volunteering your time is a great way to meet new people, gain valuable job experience and have some community spirited fun! Here are just a few ways you can volunteer at MPTV Friends:

Auction
Phone-a-thons
The auction staff is getting ready for the 2012 Great TV Auction. We are once again planning for the donor reminder phone-a-thons for 2012. Volunteers assist us with calling past donors and reminding them of the upcoming auction. These calls are critical to the success of the auction each year.
Groups or individuals are welcome to participate. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. The phone-a-thons will take place at the downtown office (previously the Friends Offices) located at the MATC campus. Parking,training and snacks will be provided on each shift. We have space for 10-12 people per shift.
Confirmations with parking and directions will be sent in mid February.
